Mao-Buddha
The Mao-Buddha portrait is a representation of the clash between two worlds: one filled with spirituality and the other saturated with ideology. That is why it depicts, on one side, the Buddha, and on the other Mao Zedong, and is intentionally cracked. The sculpture is made of patinated bronze, and the original model was created in clay.
