Frankenstein – Creature Bust
A bust of Frankenstein’s creature. So far I’ve approached this subject only three times — as a portrait, a bust, and a cybernetic version of Frankenstein. Each of these versions was interesting for me to work on, because I approached each of them with different assumptions — not only formal, but also conceptual.
In the end, it’s not about repeating the same monster again and again. Every era reveals another face of human darkness and uncertainty. We create monsters that reflect our own times.
That’s why one of my versions of Frankenstein was created in a cybernetic direction. Here, on the other hand, we have a more classical Frankenstein — but interpreted through my own emotional and formal language.Frankenstain/Nsp medium/ 6 inches
