Bust of the horse

The horse head bust was created by me in 2019. It was a preparatory study for the 20-meter Monument of the Glory of Polish Cavalry and Artillery in Komarów. The presented bronze sculpture is the original sculptural model used in the monument project. It is therefore not just another horse study, but exactly the same horse that was ultimately realized in the monument. The sculpture model is 50 cm high and was created in NSP Medium. I intended it to have a sketch-like character, hence the expressive treatment of the form — focusing on capturing movement and dynamics in a more sketch-based sculptural language.
