Angel
A sculpture of an angel for a tomb. A simple composition depicting an angel with folded wings. The form is simplified, more impressionistic, yet still realistic. Strong simplifications and stylized wings are intended to draw attention through their simplicity and by capturing a moment — wings folded as if embracing a soul. An opening is designed in the center to hold a candle, so that when lit, the sculpture appears to embrace the light.
