Alien – Sculptural Sketch

This alien sculpture was based on a design by the outstanding creature designer Neville Page. I created this model many years ago as a personal sculptural study and practice exercise.
The piece was never fully completed. It was part of my ongoing process of improving my sculpting skills and developing a deeper understanding of character form and creature design.

The sketch was sculpted in plasticine and still sits on a shelf in my studio as a record of that stage of exploration.
